Margo Hollands’ interest in photography began as a teenager. In 1995 she began to formally study the craft. In her career as a fine art photographer, she specialized in alternative printing processes and developed a line of greeting cards of floral, city & landscapes, travel and architectural details. Currently, her creative focus is on portraits and events, particularly on newborns, expectant mother, babies, children and families.
Hollands was the Director of Photography for Ringwood Manor Association of the Arts from 1998- 2001 and taught photography workshops for children. The following institutions have provided continuing inspiration toward the development of her vision: Parsons School of Design, NYC; The International Center of Photography, NYC; The Center of Photography at Woodstock, NY; The Center for Visual Arts, Summit, NJ; The Arts Center of Northern New Jersey, New Milford, NJ, The Old Church Cultural Center, Demarest, NJ and The New Jersey Media Center, Cape May, NJ.
